I need a credit card immediately and have applied for three different ones already - one of which was refused as I earn too much and don%26#039;t have any debt (!), and the others I haven%26#039;t heard anything about, even though they promised instant decision. I can%26#039;t wait much longer - does anyone know of a credit card which you can apply for and have in your hands within a couple of days? APR etc don%26#039;t matter because I will be paying it off each month.

Amex might be able to help...if you actually need a visa number, try getting a visa check or debit card...load it with cash and you can use it like a credit card.

I was in a similar situation... The bank doesn%26#039;t care how much you earn, they want to see how you handled credit / loans in the past... But you don%26#039;t have that - so I%26#039;m afraid you need to start from scratch. Maybe a secured credit card? They won%26#039;t deny it as you put your savings as collateral.
