my husband passed away last year leaving me with two small children, its been dificult with tuition for school, and day to day needs of my boys, i need a credit card that doesnt do credit checks because my husband ruined our credit, im trying to start a new life here debt free, hopefully now crediters will actualy folow up on weather the person wanting credit is maried or not and weather or not its ok with the spouse that credit is isued any help i can get would be greatly apprisiated, thank you

Creditors would not put anything in your name that you did not sign for. If they did it would be illegal. They cannot come after you for his debt if he is the only debtor listed on the agreements. If you signed for it, you are just as liable as he is. Ask for copies of where you signed agreements with each creditor if you feel you didn%26#039;t. If you feel the signature was fraudulent, you can dispute it with the credit bureaus to try to clear your name.

As far as what you can do for money now, see if you can join a credit union in your area. They seem to be the most helpful with loan products that help people get out of debt easier.
