As a homosexual, I am told that unless I repent of my %26quot;supposed%26quot; sin, that I will go to hell.
What about those who steal, (bankrupt, credit card default, student loan-defaults, mortgages etc...) unless they repay their debt they will go to hell too...for they never %26quot;turned from their sin%26quot;..correct?
Romans 13:7-8 %26quot;give everyone what you owe him...let no debt remain outstanding.%26quot;
The biggie, Deuteronomy 5:19 says, %26quot;do not steal%26quot;
Ephesians 4:28...%26quot;he who steals, let him steal no longer%26quot;
Leviticus 19:11...do not steal
So, those who have defaulted on their loans, have not repaid their debt have stolen....so, unless they repay their debt, they are going to hell...for they continue to live in sin.
Considering bankruptcy, etc...is so prevelant in our society...why aren%26#039;t the religious folks railing on these sins?
You should not pick and choose which ones to condemn....from a literal interpretation, this is sin too...your thoughts?
Bankrupt, credit card, mortgage loan defaulters, are you going to hell?
The religious folks arn%26#039;t railing on people about money situations because *gasp* that would be -hypocritical-.
Sorry hon, I probably shouldn%26#039;t be answering this question since I have an intense derision for all the %26#039;sins%26#039; Christianity foists on people. For one thing being gay isn%26#039;t a %26#039;sin%26#039;, it%26#039;s a naturally occuring genetic mutation, no more a sin than having blue eyes, red hair, or freckles.
As for money, stealing isn%26#039;t good, but sometimes you have to do it to survive. Would you condem a man who stole bread to feed his starving child? Ah, but you%26#039;d be quick to condem someone who stole millions from a big company.
Bottom line is, we don%26#039;t have any right to judge people for %26#039;sinning%26#039;, in the end we all make our own future. Sometimes what we do is right, sometimes what we do is wrong, but one thing for sure: we don%26#039;t need some old book that%26#039;s been rewritten, torn up, rehashed, translated a hundred times, and given to us by powerhungry leaders, telling us how to live.
Bankrupt, credit card, mortgage loan defaulters, are you going to hell?
See you there.
Bankrupt, credit card, mortgage loan defaulters, are you going to hell?
Sin has no degree, however I do not think homosexuality is a sin. In the grand scheme of life I doubt our sexual preference makes one iota of difference.
Bankrupt, credit card, mortgage loan defaulters, are you going to hell?
God made you a homosexual, you did not become one by choice therefore you shall be spared the smiting. I think, i%26#039;m not christian i don%26#039;t know.
Bankrupt, credit card, mortgage loan defaulters, are you going to hell?
We are all condemed apparently.
Oh well.
:-)
Bankrupt, credit card, mortgage loan defaulters, are you going to hell?
All sin must be repented of.
We are subject to the laws of whichever country we are in, and if place has been made for forgiveness of debt, so it goes...
Restitution cannot always be made.
The only unforgivable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
Bankrupt, credit card, mortgage loan defaulters, are you going to hell?
Over a million people in the UK, USA, Aus are in debt, by that statement, are you sugesting they are going to hell too?
From an atheist point of view, if your gay, thats fine with you, you wont burn forever for it.
Bankrupt, credit card, mortgage loan defaulters, are you going to hell?
If you are trying to get Christians to say they do not condemn you because you are gay, then I will say it. Gay is not a choice, you were born that way. I do not believe you are going to hell for it.
Bankrupt, credit card, mortgage loan defaulters, are you going to hell?
I don%26#039;t think anyone will go to hell for any of the stuff you wrote.
Self righteousness is not an excuse to put others down in an effort to feel better about ourselves.
Bankrupt, credit card, mortgage loan defaulters, are you going to hell?
Unless you, (meaning anyone,) do not reconize that they are sinners, (yes we ALL are,) and do not ask Jesus Christ to come into their lives and wash away their sin, THEN pick up their cross, and walk along side Christ, they will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
Bankrupt, credit card, mortgage loan defaulters, are you going to hell?
What if you remain a homosexual but give up sodomy? If you make that sacrifice, God may forgive you and you may go to heaven.
Bankrupt, credit card, mortgage loan defaulters, are you going to hell?
It is not anyone%26#039;s place to decide who is/isn%26#039;t going to hell/heaven. That%26#039;s up to the big man up above. I always try to worry about myself instead of others. If you feel that you%26#039;re living life the way you ought to, that%26#039;s all that matters! Forget those who are judgemental and more focus on your faults then who you are as a person.
Bankrupt, credit card, mortgage loan defaulters, are you going to hell?
Dumb question. One does not go to Hell for their sins but their rejection of God.
Plus, only a reprobate mind could compare bankruptcy to homosexuality.
Bankrupt, credit card, mortgage loan defaulters, are you going to hell?
No one has the right to condemn or judge anyone accept God. Unfortunately, we have people who go ahead and judge anyway. We are all human and we all sin in different ways. As a christian I personally try to understand that God has given us free will and I am no better than the next. I think most people go through being outcasted at one point or another. I can say I have.
Bankrupt, credit card, mortgage loan defaulters, are you going to hell?
No they do not sin because some people have a big
medicial bill,s or a unlawful law suit,,don%26#039;t judge until
you walk in their shoe,s.
and God speak,s against homosexuality as an
abomination in his sight.
Bankrupt, credit card, mortgage loan defaulters, are you going to hell?
Barry%26#039;s Buddy said it all. My 10cents:
You were not born a homosexual, it is an aberration just like many things, nor did God make you that way - dont be naive enough to accept that garbage. It is a demonic curse. Getting rid of the demons gets rid of the curse - as simple as that - but as complicated as never wishing to change.
But the good news is that you are a child of God and equal in terms of His love as any of us.
Your %26#039;problem%26#039; is between you and Him. Are you going to Hell?? Well are you dead yet? Because only when you die is it too late for God to influence your earthly actions before judgement. Have you spoken to God lately?
