you should open a bank account and ask them to give you a student credit card or a secure credit card if you already have a bank account just call them and apply over the phone im 100% sure the will give you one

good luck!

No credit. Credit card?

if you have a bank account you may want to see if the bank will give you a credit card... the best way to establish your credit is to make at least one small purchase every month and pay it off as soon as you receive the bill.... it shows activity and regular payments which gets reported to the credit bureau regularly... only other advice i can give you is to try to stay with a small limit of $300 or $500... hope this helps

To avail of the credit card, you should be at least 18 years of age. You should be employed or have some regular source of income. These are two important criteria and if you can give convincing proof to demonstrate your suitability, you will be easily approved. You may have failed to pay back the old credit card debt or some flaw may be present in your credit report. In this situation, getting a card will be tough.

Have you thought about a prepaid debit card that has a Credit Builder built into it? You can read about them here:

They work in the same way credit cards do, in the sense that they report your payment history to the credit reporting agencies.

Since you%26#039;re 18 you want to start out with something that will help you build good credit and won%26#039;t run the risk of putting a black mark on your credit history - which can be very hard to get rid of. The cards discussed at the article above are perfect for people like you who are just starting out or are trying to rebuild their credit.
